We're now looking for our next star to join Vafabmiljö's customer center who can support us part-time as needed! The shared goal of the unit is to continuously improve customer experiences and develop common working methods to streamline work.

About the Role
As a customer advisor at Vafabmiljö, you are in daily contact with our customers. You answer questions and resolve matters related to, among other things, source sorting, hazardous waste, household and business waste. Contact currently takes place via phone, email, and chat. Your administrative tasks include, for example, registering and monitoring customer cases, adjusting invoices, register maintenance, and helping customers make good choices for the environment.
The customer center is based at our office in central Västerås. We sit a couple of floors up in open, bright premises, with a restaurant on the ground floor and close proximity to both the Mälar Promenade and Västerås Central Station. Your nearest colleagues consist of other customer advisors, but you will also collaborate with administrators, customer specialists with various specializations, and business developers.

We see that you who apply have:
- Completed upper secondary education.
- Other primary employment of at least 50%.
- Experience meeting and serving customers or other people, through work, studies, or volunteer engagement.
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English in both speech and writing.
- Computer skills and experience working in the Office package.
It is meritorious if you have:
- Post-secondary education in, for example, service or customer relations.
- Experience in customer service via phone, email, and chat as well as work with communication in digital channels.
- Knowledge of languages other than Swedish and English.
Other Good to Know:
The position is a special fixed-term part-time employment. This means you work as needed. Sometimes you know in advance when you will work, and sometimes you may be asked on short notice when needed.
In this recruitment, we are seeking two new colleagues.
Placement is at Navet, Gasverksgatan 7 in Västerås. Working hours are scheduled for weekdays (excluding holidays), 07:15–16:00. Start date is by agreement.
