"Agroresurces and Economics Institute" Registration No. 90002137506 Academic Position Competition The derived public entity "Agroresurces and Economics Institute" (AREI) announces a competition for an academic position in the Bioeconomy Department (address: Struktoru Street 14, Riga, LV-1038): Lead Researcher in Environmental Sciences – 1 position Requirements for candidates: Doctoral degree in environmental sciences; at least 3 scientific publications published in the last 6 years and indexed in SCOPUS/Web of Science databases; fluency in at least two foreign languages (English language knowledge is mandatory) - necessary for communication with international cooperation partners and for conducting full-fledged and high-quality scientific research work (international projects, publications in English); experience in implementing scientific research projects within the last 6 years. We offer candidates: the opportunity to work in a creative scientific team; support for further education, knowledge development, and professional advancement; salary determined in accordance with the hourly rate, based on the results of the employee's annual evaluation of scientific activities. Until the next evaluation of scientific achievements, the minimum hourly rate starts from 7.26 EUR/hour before payment of taxes provided for in the regulatory acts in force in the Republic of Latvia; the opportunity to significantly increase remuneration by attracting funds for research project implementation; social guarantees, including health insurance.
