RESPONSIBILITIES
Borgholm Energi is responsible for water and sewage services in Borgholm Municipality; much of the work involves managing and maintaining existing systems, but also planning and building for the future.
The advertised position belongs to the Water and Sewage Distribution Network department, and the duties of the Pipe Fitter consist mainly of operating existing water and sewage distribution networks and participating in the design, execution, and inspection of new water and sewage lines and water and sewage contracts.
Together with other staff from Borgholm Energi, you will be involved in investigating, planning, optimizing, and adjusting maintenance plans as well as improving service to internal and external customers.
The position may include on-call duty with a maximum response time of 1 hour.
The employer may apply a 6-month probationary period.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are primarily looking for someone with relevant technical education and practical experience from water and sewage distribution networks or other experience that we consider equivalent. Advantageous qualifications include, for example, wheel loader certification, Svenskt Vatten's Pipe Network diploma course, SMAW & electroslag welding course, APV level 1 & 2, and Safe Excavation.
Regardless of previous experience, we value your personal qualities, and to thrive and succeed in this role, you need to be organized and experienced in prioritizing your tasks. You will be part of a flexible organization, which means you need to be able to work well both independently and in a group, and you must adapt easily to changing circumstances.
The position requires computer skills, and experience with VA-banken or similar systems is advantageous. You express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing. A Class B driver's license is required. An extended trailer license is advantageous.
