No. 90000158236) Supervision Expert, Financial Technology Supervision Division If you have experience and knowledge in the field of crypto-asset services and want to be part of fintech development, join the Financial Technology Supervision Division team at Latvijas Banka! This position will not involve AML (anti-money laundering and combating the financing of terrorism) risk supervision; we do not expect knowledge in this area. Employment contract for the duration of an employee's absence. You will have the opportunity to: conduct prudential supervision activities of crypto-asset service providers; regularly analyze financial data and reports of market participants; prepare conclusions and provide opinions on compliance with regulations; participate in the assessment of crypto-asset service providers' operations and business models and provide support in the licensing process; provide consultations on regulatory and supervision matters to market participants. We expect from you: higher education in economics or financial management; preferably at least 2 years of professional experience in financial audit and/or audit of financial institutions' operations; understanding of crypto-asset service providers' services, operations, and their regulation (MiCA); experience in corporate financial analysis and risk management matters; very good command of English (for working with EU institution documents and providing consultations to market participants).
