Municipal Development, Jönköping Do you want the opportunity to shape the future of leisure activities together with the municipalities in Jönköping County? Municipal Development's Leisure Partnership is now seeking a Development Leader who wants to contribute to long-term and sustainable collaboration within and between the county's municipalities and Region Jönköping County. The role as Development Leader The Leisure Partnership within Municipal Development is tasked with working on all shared development issues within the leisure sector that the municipalities prioritize collaborating on. As a Development Leader, you will help shape the future of leisure activities across Jönköping County. You coordinate and develop work on behalf of the municipal leisure directors. Together, you will address issues related to open leisure and youth activities, swimming and sports activities, and community associations. Your responsibility is to lead, coordinate, and provide support through trend monitoring, development work, and various current and upcoming projects. You will also participate in and work with regional and national networks and other relevant forums for the field. You may also be assigned tasks within other partnerships at Municipal Development. The assignment includes, among other things: • Defining municipal needs regarding development, coordination, and research if needed • Offering support in defined municipal needs • Collaborating with various stakeholders, both internally and externally • Monitoring the external environment, highlighting and disseminating research results and information that support development in municipal operations • Developing collaboration between the county's leisure administrations and relevant organizations in the sector • Offering and developing competence initiatives based on needs The placement is in Jönköping, but since you work for all municipalities in the county, regular travel throughout the region will occur. There is also flexibility to work from home to some extent. This is a permanent full-time position with a start date to be agreed upon. Your future workplace The municipalities in Jönköping County collaborate through Municipal Development in several primary municipal areas: social welfare and health care, education (preschool and school), environmental and health protection supervision, leisure, digitalization, and competence development. Municipal Development also operates Barnahus and Care & Welfare College jointly on behalf of the municipalities. Municipal Development is organizationally part of Region Jönköping County but operates independently on behalf of the 13 municipalities and is governed by a political collaboration body (primary municipal collaboration). The work is organized through different partnerships where the municipalities are financiers, active owners, and also assign their own personnel resources for shorter or longer projects.
