ABOUT THE POSITION:
Our client is a global defense and security company active in aerospace, land and maritime defense, civil security, and commercial aviation. Technically, they are leaders in many areas and one-fifth of their revenues go to research and development. In your role as a development engineer in automation, you will work on developing and optimizing test equipment and automated systems. This is not classical robot automation in high-volume production, but technical solutions that need to be further developed, modernized, and ensured over time.
You will primarily work with existing equipment, where older technical solutions need to be improved, adapted, or rebuilt to meet new requirements. The role also includes developing new test equipment, requirements work, documentation, and system work related to technical solutions and processes.
An important part of the work involves PLC systems and control systems, where you will get to design, understand, and further develop solutions based on the company's needs. You will also contribute to ensuring the operation and maintenance of equipment, which means you can combine technical analysis with practical problem-solving.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO:
Have completed post-secondary education in, for example, automation, electrical engineering, mechatronics, mechanical engineering, or another relevant technical field
Have at least one year of work experience from automation, control systems, or PLC
Have a clear technical interest and a desire to work broadly with technical systems
Understand electrical or electrical-related systems
Have good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish and English

ABOUT THE EMPLOYMENT:
This position requires that you undergo and are approved under applicable security clearance regulations at any given time. For positions where our client has security classification requirements, this may, where applicable, entail requirements for certain citizenship.
This is a consulting assignment, which means you will be employed by Friday.
