Would you like to be part of the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare's work to support the development of healthcare? You will work with important and complex issues in healthcare that require a comprehensive perspective. The National Board of Health and Welfare is expanding and strengthening its support work toward regions and is therefore seeking additional staff members. The work aims to support regions through a national development team to better enable care to be provided at the right time. The focus is to support specialized psychiatric care services. About the Position We are looking for someone who wants to be part of the national effort to support healthcare in its development toward accessible, efficient, and equitable care with high quality. The work will be conducted through what we call a national development team—a team that will support regions in their operations based on existing challenges and needs. You will, among other things, contribute knowledge and generate new understanding of some of healthcare's most pressing issues, collaborate with various stakeholders to develop solutions, and contribute to change and benefits for patients, healthcare professionals, and leadership. You will be part of the unit for accessibility and workforce development. Today, the unit consists of approximately 25 employees. You will be part of a competent team that will support regions in the field of psychiatric care. Your work tasks will include planning, implementing, and reporting on the assignment together with other analysts on the team. The assignment may involve some travel. About You To thrive in this role and do a good job, we see that you have a strong ability to understand complex problems, work with operational development, and develop approaches that are tailored to target groups and provide support. You are structured and can communicate clearly to others. You are skilled at switching between different types of tasks and using different working methods, for example, developing approaches and supporting stakeholders outside the agency. It is important that you are comfortable with iterative working methods, which means that work priorities continuously change. We also see that you have a strong ability to collaborate with people both within and outside the agency. The work involves continuously reprioritizing to best support our target groups, which means you need to be able to adapt to new circumstances. Since you will have many contacts both internally and externally, it is essential that you are skilled at collaborating and building good relationships. The role requires that you are self-driven, take your own initiative and responsibility, and drive your own work to completion. You should be unafraid to take on new challenges of varying difficulty and be stimulated by complex issues where you identify possible approaches. For this position, we will place great emphasis on your personal qualities. We are looking for someone who has academic education that the agency considers relevant multiple years of experience with change management and development work experience working in projects and through team-based work current and relevant experience with investigation and analysis work within, for example, healthcare, higher education and research, and/or innovation very strong communication skills in Swedish, both spoken and written. It is advantageous if you have experience leading projects knowledge of healthcare governance and organization knowledge of or experience working within psychiatry experience with relevant work in the public sector or other relevant organizations within or related to healthcare Good to Know The position concerns multiple vacancies and is a permanent position starting with a six-month probationary period. You will be based at the office on Västerbroplan in Stockholm, but have the option to work remotely up to 2 days per week. In spring 2027, we are moving to new premises in Solna strand.
