You will be located in the Joint Operations Support unit and work at the KS office, which provides administrative support to the Faculty of Culture and Society. You will be based at the Department of Art, Culture and Communication, K3. At K3, we work with subjects within design, media, cultural production, and humanities. At K3, scientific theory and knowledge are combined with artistic methods and practical skills. Responsibilities As an Education Coordinator, you will work closely with the department's head and management, both operatively and strategically, with the department's educational offerings and quality work, which includes monitoring, analysis, and planning regarding content and resource allocation. Examples of tasks as an Education Coordinator: - You have an overview and ensure that the department's educational administrative processes function and that deadlines are met, which may involve some supervisory work. - You are responsible for ensuring that content in the education database regarding educational offerings is accurate. - You will be involved in handling certain admission and degree matters, as well as preparation and processing of matters in the department's course committee. - You support and serve as a sounding board for program coordinators in educational administrative matters. - You can be expected to serve as secretary in working groups, councils, and committees. - You support the operations in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, as well as internal decisions and guidelines. In both roles, you will work in a department-close team consisting of several administrative support functions; within educational administration there are also study administrators. There is overlap between the roles based on the current needs of the operations. Qualifications We are looking for someone with relevant higher education, preferably at the master's level. We appreciate if you have substantial experience working with educational administration. You have experience with governmental authority and are well familiar with the laws and regulations that govern the university's educational activities. Since you will have a key role in the department's educational work with many contact points, it is important that you work well with others, are solution-oriented, and are a good communicator. It is important that you can work both independently and in a group, that you take your own initiatives, and that you have the ability to work both strategically and operatively. The workload can be high during certain periods, so it is important that you can plan and prioritize your work. As we work in an international, dynamic environment where we together develop working methods, digital tools, and educational offerings, we appreciate if you thrive in such an environment. You express yourself well, both verbally and in writing, in Swedish as well as in English. You are comfortable learning new digital tools and master both tools used at the university such as Ladok, Kursinfo, Diva, and Canvas as well as Excel and Word.
