You will be part of Shared Business Support and work at the KS office, which provides administrative support to the Faculty of Culture and Society. You will be based at the Department of Art, Culture and Communication, K3. At K3, we work with subjects within design, media, cultural production, and humanities. At K3, scientific theory and knowledge are combined with artistic methods and practical skills. Responsibilities and Tasks As an education administrator, you will work with a focus on handling student-related matters in collaboration with teachers, education coordinators, and others, while also participating in our quality assurance efforts in various ways. Examples of tasks for an education administrator: You handle student-related matters such as credit transfers and study breaks. You may also be involved in admission and degree-related questions. You provide support to the department regarding applicable laws, regulations, as well as internal decisions, guidelines, and decision-making processes. You provide administrative support to relevant committees and councils, including preparation and handling of matters. You work on creating and publishing (including oral communication) education-related informational materials for students and teachers in Swedish and English. You provide support and backup to the education coordinator. You may be expected to serve as secretary for working groups, councils, and committees. In both positions, you will work in a department-close team consisting of several administrative support functions; within education administration there are also study administrators. There is overlap between roles based on current operational needs. Qualifications We are looking for someone with relevant higher education, preferably at the master's level. We appreciate applicants with solid experience in education administration. You have experience exercising public authority and are well versed in the laws and regulations governing the university's educational activities. Since you will have a key role in the department's educational work with many contact points, it is important that you collaborate well with others, are solution-oriented, and are a good communicator. It is important that you can work both independently and in groups, take initiative, and have the ability to work both strategically and operatively. Workload can be high during certain periods, so it is important that you can plan and prioritize your work. Since we work in an international, dynamic environment where we together develop work methods, digital tools, and educational offerings, we appreciate that you thrive in such an environment. You express yourself well, both orally and in writing, in both Swedish and English. You are comfortable learning new digital tools and are proficient with tools used at the university such as Ladok, Kursinfo, Diva, and Canvas, as well as Excel and Word.
