Internal Service is part of the Property, Support and Service administration and is responsible for delivering operational-level services that enable VGR's core healthcare operations to function effectively. The assignment includes facility management, care-related services, patient transportation, internal logistics, and quality and delivery monitoring. Internal Service works closely with healthcare and contributes to safe, secure, and well-functioning work environments. We are now seeking a Training and Quality Leader for the Hospitals in Väster! Job Description As a Training and Quality Leader, you are responsible for training and developing the competence of employees within the service operations that Internal Service provides to healthcare, with the greatest focus on facility management. The assignment involves ensuring that our employees have the right skills for their tasks and creating favorable conditions for the operation to deliver high quality. Based on a structured annual plan, you continuously monitor training and competence among employees. You are responsible for operationally implementing training programs developed in collaboration with the Training and Quality Process Leader. You work closely with the operation and are regularly present in day-to-day operations where you support employees and operational coordinators with questions regarding training, competence, and quality. The role also includes coaching and developing supervisors. Further, you monitor and analyze the quality and effectiveness of training programs in the operation. Based on this, you identify local training needs, implement these, and thereby actively contribute to development for both employees and the operation. The role contributes to employees feeling confident in their tasks and having the knowledge required to perform work with high quality. The role is organizationally located in the Internal Service Follow-up Unit where you report to the Unit Manager. Work takes place in close collaboration with multiple facility management teams and their unit managers as well as in close collaboration with other Training and Quality Leaders within Internal Service and the Training and Quality Process Leader. The position is located in our offices at Flöjelbergsgatan in Mölndal, but work is conducted at all hospital sites belonging to the Hospitals in Väster: Alingsås lasarett, Angereds närsjukhus, Kungälvs sjukhus, and Högsbo närsjukhus. Travel is thus part of the position, and where possible we use public transportation for travel in accordance with Västra Götalandsregionen's travel policy. Qualifications We are looking for someone who has: Post-secondary education in a relevant field (for example pedagogy) or other education/experience that the employer deems equivalent. Good IT skills and experience with operational IT systems, Office 365, and digital training and monitoring tools. Strong ability to express yourself clearly in speech and writing in Swedish. Experience with coordinating work and independently planning, implementing, and following up on work or projects. Experience developing and implementing new working methods, processes, roles, or structures. Category B driving license. It is meritorious if you have experience from hygiene or service professions. It is also meritorious if you hold a professional certificate in SRY or PRYL and/or have experience working according to INSTA800 or other training within facility management. To succeed in the role, you are relationship-oriented, attentive, and have an ability to build trust and engagement with employees and managers. Through your pedagogical ability and competence, you can communicate information in a clear and accessible way, adapted to the needs of the target audience. You are comfortable in complex situations with the ability to create structure and prioritize, and through your clear drive you advance the work and make independent decisions within the scope of the assignment. Furthermore, you are flexible, with the ability to reprioritize based on operational needs, work proactively, and act solution-oriented. As a person, you are a good role model and contribute to participation in the operation.
