Internal Service is part of the Property, Support and Service department and is responsible for delivering operational support services that enable VGR's core healthcare operations to function effectively. The role encompasses facility maintenance, care-related services, patient transport, internal logistics, and quality and delivery follow-up. Internal Service works closely with healthcare and contributes to safe, secure and well-functioning work environments. We are now seeking an Education and Quality Manager for one of our service teams at Skaraborgs sjukhus (SKAS) in Skövde! Job Description As an Education and Quality Manager, you are responsible for training and developing the competence of employees within the service operations that Internal Service delivers to healthcare, with the primary focus on facility maintenance. The role involves ensuring that our employees have the right competence for their assignments and creating good conditions for the operation to deliver high quality. Based on a structured annual plan, you will continuously monitor training and competence among employees. You are responsible for operationally delivering training programs developed in collaboration with the process leader for education and quality. You work closely with the operation and are regularly present in daily operations where you support employees and operational coordinators on matters related to training, competence and quality. The role also includes coaching and developing supervisors. You will also monitor and analyze the quality and impact of training in the operation. Based on this, you identify local training needs, implement these and thereby actively contribute to development for both employees and the operation. The role contributes to employees feeling confident in their work tasks and having the knowledge required to perform their work with high quality. The role is organizationally part of a facility maintenance team where you report to a unit manager. The work also takes place in close collaboration with several facility maintenance teams and their unit managers, as well as with other education and quality managers within Internal Service and the process leader for education and quality. The position is based in Skövde but the work is carried out at all hospital facilities in the Skaraborg region: Falköping, Lidköping and Skövde. Travel is therefore part of the role and where possible we use public transport for travel in accordance with Västra Götalandsregionen's travel policy. Qualifications We are looking for someone who has: Post-secondary education in a relevant field (for example education) or other education/experience that the employer deems equivalent. Good IT skills and experience with operational IT systems, Office 365 and digital training and follow-up tools. Strong ability to express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish. Experience with coordinating work and independently planning, conducting and following up on work or projects. Experience developing and implementing new ways of working, processes, roles or structures. Category B driving license To succeed in the role, you are relationship-building, attentive and have an easy way of building trust and engagement with employees and managers. Through your pedagogical skills and competence, you can convey information in a clear and accessible way, adapted to the target group's needs. You are comfortable in complex situations with the ability to create structure and prioritize, and through your clear drive, move the work forward and make independent decisions within the scope of your assignment. You are also flexible, with the ability to reprioritize based on operational needs, work proactively and act in a solution-oriented manner. As a person, you are a good role model and contribute to participation in the operation. It is meritorious if you have experience from hygiene or service professions. It is also meritorious if you have professional certification within SRY or PRYL and/or experience working according to INSTA800 or other training within facility maintenance.
