Salary Grade: 11th salary class
Job Duties:
- Approving projects pursuant to Act No. 283/2021 Coll., Building Code, as amended, and implementing regulations, and related activities.
- Handling administrative proceedings regarding violations of the Building Code.
Requirements: (PURSUANT TO § 4 SUBSECTION 1 OF THE ACT ON PUBLIC OFFICERS)
- The applicant must be a natural person who is a citizen of the Czech Republic, or a citizen of another EU member state, or a citizen of a state that is a contracting party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area, or a foreign national with permanent residence permitted in the Czech Republic, who has reached 18 years of age, is fully competent, has no criminal record, and speaks the official language.
- Higher education in a Master's degree program, Bachelor's degree program, higher vocational education, or secondary education with a school-leaving exam.
What We Require:
- Completed higher education in a study program in the field of architecture and urban planning, construction, economics, transportation, biology, ecology and environmental sciences, forestry and wood science, earth sciences, or law; or higher vocational education in construction, geodesy and cartography, general legal work, public administration work, or transportation; or secondary education with a school-leaving exam in construction, geodesy and real estate cadastre, or public administration work (pursuant to § 30a of Act No. 283/2021 Coll., Building Code, as amended).
- Good knowledge of Czech language in speech and writing.
- Very good user knowledge of computer work (MS Office, internet).
- Basic knowledge of Act No. 283/2021 Coll., Building Code, as amended, including implementing regulations No. 131/2024 Coll., on construction documentation, No. 146/2024 Coll., on construction requirements, No. 149/2024 Coll., on implementation of certain provisions of the Building Code, Act No. 500/2004 Coll., Administrative Code, No. 128/2000 Coll., on municipalities (municipal governance), No. 250/2016 Coll., on liability for offenses and proceedings concerning them, all as amended.
As an Advantage:
- Completed higher education in at least a Master's degree program in law at a university in the Czech Republic (§ 111 subsection 1 of Act No. 250/2016 Coll., on liability for offenses and proceedings concerning them).
- Experience in public administration.
- Experience in project or other construction work.
- Knowledge of territorial planning documentation.
- Successful completion of an exam demonstrating special professional competence for administrative activities in the field of building regulations.
