WORK TASKS
As a Procurement Specialist, you hold a central role in the municipality's purchasing and procurement operations. You are responsible for planning, leading, and executing procurements in close collaboration with managers and operational representatives across the municipality's various departments.
You serve as a qualified resource in procurement and purchasing matters and contribute to developing the municipality's methods to create efficient and commercially sound purchasing practices.
Your main work tasks are to:
• independently plan, drive, and project manage multiple parallel procurements from needs analysis to contracts
• provide advice and support to managers and departments on procurement and purchasing matters
• ensure that procurements are conducted commercially and in accordance with LOU, other relevant legislation, and the municipality's internal guidelines
• contribute to developing routines, processes, and working methods in purchasing and procurement
• coordinate and support the municipality's procurement operations
• conduct supplier dialogues to increase the market's understanding of the municipality's needs
You will be part of the municipality's central procurement function and one of three employees who together are responsible for procurement, e-commerce, and contract management.
This position offers you the opportunity to combine legal understanding with commercial thinking and operational development in a varied and developmental role.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who have:
• post-secondary education in public procurement, economics, law, or other education the employer deems equivalent
• experience in purchasing work or procurement, or alternatively relevant practice or education in the field
• good understanding of public procurement and LOU
• good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish
• it is meritorious to have experience with procurements in the construction, infrastructure, or real estate sector
