Our consultants within AFRY Nuclear drive projects and carry out assignments across multiple technical areas – mechanics/process, electrical/automation, construction, and industry-specific fields such as reactor safety and radioactive waste. We execute projects of varying sizes, from component replacements to complex modernization projects. We are now seeking a project manager who wants to lead HVAC projects in this exciting industry. In this role, you will work with everything from early stages to estimates, engineering and drawings, develop and establish technical documentation and records. You will lead assignments from start to finish by planning, following up, and ensuring that projects stay on schedule and budget while being carried out according to the strict regulations and safety requirements that apply in the nuclear power industry. The role may also include needs analyses, tender reviews, feasibility studies, and investigations prior to projects. You will become part of a committed and knowledgeable team where you have good opportunities to develop in your role as a project manager. We maintain close collaboration with our customers, which means you will have a central role in their operations and projects, with the opportunity to work closely with their organization. In most assignments, you will spend 3-5 days per week on-site at the customer's location. Qualifications To thrive and succeed in this role, we are looking for someone who learns easily and adopts new knowledge. You are self-driven and move parallel tasks and assignments forward in a structured and efficient manner. You have a solution-oriented approach and adapt easily to changing circumstances, seeing opportunities in change. Equally important for the role is your strong ability to create and maintain trusting collaborative relationships with both customers and colleagues. You have good communication skills and support and contribute where needed for the team to succeed. We are looking for candidates with: Post-secondary education in energy and environmental engineering or equivalent Several years of experience working with heating, cooling, and ventilation systems for buildings and industry Good knowledge of Swedish and English Driver's license category B, as travel is a natural part of the role It is advantageous if you have: Experience as a refrigeration technician Experience as a project manager Experience from the nuclear power industry Since this position operates within security-classified areas, you will undergo drug testing and security clearance with record checks according to chapter 3 before employment can begin.
