Unika Gyttorp is a group home located in a rural setting in a small villa neighborhood 6 km outside Nora. The residence is designed for individuals in LSS category 1. The home accommodates 6 residents.
About the Role of Support Assistant
As a support assistant, you will work to provide individualized support to people with functional variations, with the goal of promoting their independence and wellbeing in everyday life. You will support residents in their daily routines and activities, based on their needs and abilities, always using their personal implementation plan as your starting point.
We work with a salutogenic and pedagogical approach, based on each individual's unique strengths and resources. The goal is for residents to achieve as much independence as possible and live a meaningful life with high quality of life. As a support assistant, you will work using clarifying pedagogy and low-arousal approaches to create security and predictability in residents' daily lives. At the same time, we have a strong focus on working professionally and efficiently within the organization's resources and budget.
Qualifications
You are relationship-building, calm, stable, and can maintain a realistic perspective on situations that arise in daily work. You have good collaboration skills and relate to others in a responsive way, and you enjoy working with others. You are an independent, humble, and responsible person who is passionate about care work and can recognize individuals' needs.
We place great importance on personal suitability.
Requirements:
Very good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
Good computer skills and experience with documentation.
Experience working in care and healthcare.
Valid driver's license.
Meritorious qualifications include:
Experience in psychiatry, AAC, and low-arousal approaches.
Experience working with complex support needs.
Upper secondary education such as child and leisure program, care and healthcare program, or post-secondary education such as support pedagogue, social pedagogue, or higher education in a relevant field.
Employment Terms
Employment type: SÄVA without specified working hours. Working hours: Varied with overnight on-call duty. Start date: By agreement; we welcome candidates who can start soon. Collective agreement: We are bound by collective agreements with Vårdföretagarna/Kommunal, Sector E.
