We are now seeking several personal assistants with great sense of responsibility for a young man who loves forests and nature. He has a congenital chromosomal disorder that includes autism, developmental disability, language disorder, sleep disorder, and type 1 diabetes. No heavy lifting as he is mobile. One of the positions is approximately 92% and we are also seeking a person for approximately 47% The client finished his studies in June and will begin day activities in the fall. You will regularly check blood sugar throughout the day and make adjustments based on values or activities. In addition to his interest in being outdoors in forests and nature, he has a great interest in movies and enjoys visiting McDonald's. Visits to Paradiset for swimming are also something he appreciates. Work will be scheduled during day/evening hours. It is beneficial if you have experience particularly with autism, type 1 diabetes, and insulin pumps, although the most important thing is that the personal chemistry between you and the client is right.
