Home Care Service Björnen is a mid-sized home care group based in the Hägglunds area facilities in Gullänget. We typically visit clients by bicycle, with some travel by car. Job Responsibilities As a staff member, your primary task is to provide support, motivation and care to our residents. We work to promote health with the aim of strengthening individuals' own abilities and ensuring that everyone living with us has the opportunity to live life, fully. Job duties include personal care, contact person responsibilities and social and physical activities together with our residents. We work in teams, which means that many different professional groups share the common goal of creating good quality of life and a good environment for our residents. The positions are two permanent full-time (100%) appointments with a start date by agreement. Qualifications We are looking for someone who is a nursing assistant or has other education or experience that the employer deems sufficient. We would appreciate if you have further education in elder care and/or dementia or have training in psychiatry. Experience working in health and social care is a merit. It is important that you enjoy working with people and that you are flexible and open to new ideas and working methods. A valid driver's license, category B is required. As part of the interview process, we will conduct an identity check and verify citizenship. Accepted documents are passport, international ID card, driver's license + personal certificate from the Swedish Tax Agency or other ID document that verifies citizenship. For some positions, a copy of the Police's suspicion and conviction register is required. We would appreciate language skills in Finnish and/or one of the Sámi varieties, as Örnsköldsviks Municipality is part of both the Finnish and Sámi administrative areas. In our municipality, a number of positions are classified as security positions, so security vetting may be conducted. These positions may require Swedish citizenship.
