Do you want to add a golden touch to the lives of our elderly? To Skärstadals äldreboende, we are now seeking nursing assistants for both day and night shifts. With us, you will become part of a dedicated team where safety, joy, and care are in focus. Welcome to us Skärstadals äldreboende is beautifully situated in the scenic Skärstad area, approximately 10 km north of Huskvarna, along the old national highway toward Gränna. Here there are 48 apartments distributed across five units, including one dementia unit and one unit with two short-term beds. We currently also have one respite care bed. You will become part of a work group that prioritizes the well-being of our residents. We advance the facility's development and improvement work together. Your new job No two days are alike, but every day you make a difference. Through care, nursing, and good customer service, you contribute to creating a safe and meaningful everyday life for our residents. Your work tasks include personal care, medication management, documentation, and case management. You also provide care at the end of life, including palliative care. You support residents in their daily lives, encourage independence, and create opportunities for community, activities, and well-being. Work is carried out in close collaboration with colleagues, family members, nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists. Two of the positions are scheduled for day and evening shifts, weekdays and weekends. The third position is scheduled for night and evening shifts, weekdays and weekends. Your qualifications Formal qualifications We are looking for someone trained as a nursing assistant. Experience in health and care is highly desirable. For the night shift, experience with night work is also desirable. If you have extensive and relevant experience in the health and care profession, this can replace the training requirement. You have good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written. Digital tools are a natural part of the work, which means you need to be comfortable using computers and phones for documentation, alarm handling, and other technical aids. The work also requires good physical mobility, as situations arise that cannot be predicted and must be solved in a way suited to the situation. A driver's license and access to a car are an advantage, but not a requirement for the position. It is possible to take the bus to and from work with some schedule adjustments. If you prefer cycling, there is a nice bicycle path from Jönköping to Huskvarna all the way to Skärstad.
