Make a difference. Every day. The Orthopedic Ward is an acute care unit that admits patients around the clock. Here we provide pre- and postoperative care for patients with orthopedic diagnoses. We also care for a number of elective patients undergoing surgery on the hip, knee, shoulder, and foot on the ward. On our ward, we have good collaboration with all professional categories and there is interest in new ideas and improvements. We value working interprofessionally to best utilize available knowledge. Your knowledge and that of your colleagues is shared through our pulse/team rounds where we review the patients and diagnoses we have on the ward. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Do you want to develop and share your knowledge? Do you want to work at one of Region Skåne's most innovative wards? We now have the opportunity to welcome nursing assistant colleagues to our ward! As a nursing assistant with us, you work in professional teams. This means you participate in team rounds, planned mobilization sessions, and patient-centered care. Clear job descriptions exist for all professional categories which contributes to a successful team approach. We also work with patient safety based on special assignments, where you as a nursing assistant participate. Clear targets and action plans are in place and we work with activity-based scheduling. Shifts include every other weekend. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who are a trained nursing assistant and meet the National Board of Health and Welfare's requirements for a protected professional title regardless of whether you studied under the previous or current program structure. Good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written, are a requirement. If you additionally have previous experience working in orthopedic care and/or elderly care, this is highly meriting for the position.
