Night Patrol is part of home care services in Karlskrona Municipality and consists of 11 patrols covering the entire municipality. Our mission addresses needs within elderly care (SOL), functional support (LSS), and health and medical services (HSL). We carry out approximately 300 planned interventions every night and respond to all security alarms in the municipality. We are now looking for nursing assistants with that extra something required for an exciting and challenging assignment. 3 position(s). WORK TASKS About the assignment Our work in the Elderly Care Administration is based on the individual and their opportunity to participate in their personal care and social activities. As a nursing assistant, you will work with basic care and nursing based on a rehabilitative approach, with emphasis on dignity and well-being for the individual. You shall utilize and stimulate the individual's resources and perform nursing tasks following delegation by a nurse. QUALIFICATIONS Qualifications - Meriting You are a trained nursing assistant with a professional certificate. Experience in health and care work is meriting. You must have a driver's license and good driving experience. You have good computer skills and very good knowledge of the Swedish language. You shall have the ability to perform the individual's approved interventions with commitment based on a salutogenic approach. The assignment requires that you are resourceful and responsive to the individual's wishes, are reliable and have a natural respect for personal integrity. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. You shall be able to contribute to a positive work environment, be open to change, flexible and have good conduct, both towards customers and towards colleagues and other professionals. It is of great importance that you can independently plan, organize and perform the work while also being able to work as part of a team. To a large extent you will work independently and with great personal responsibility. It is therefore important that you are confident in your professional role. You have support and help from your colleagues and nurses. We largely work with collaboration shifts as a solution for absences, vacancies, etc. in much of the elderly care administration's operations. Working in the night patrol involves great variety and many challenges which requires that you are action-oriented, solution-focused and creative. Our approach is based on cooperation; it is through cooperation that we succeed. Employment type: Fixed-term employment. Duration: 6 months or longer, start date: By agreement.
