We are now recruiting dedicated nursing assistants for home care in Veberöd! Here you will work closely with people, provide reassurance, and help seniors live independent lives at home. You will become part of an engaged team where care and quality are in focus. About the role and your responsibilities Your work is guided by the needs of the individuals you support. A typical workday may include providing support and assistance with personal care, care work, medical interventions delegated by a nurse, and other tasks the person you support needs help with. Documentation is done in Lifecare. Your role also includes contributing to the development and maintenance of high-quality services. With us, you have the opportunity to work in different roles. As a fixed care coordinator, you are responsible for creating and following up on implementation plans for your clients. The staff is organized into smaller teams, with 2-3 fixed care coordinators who, together with a floating staff member, are responsible for serving the clients in their team. You may also visit other clients. As a resource staff member, you work across multiple areas. Your shifts are arranged within the four home care districts: Dalby, Södra Sandby, Veberöd, and Genarp. You are flexible and enjoy meeting new colleagues and working at different units. We are now recruiting nursing assistants for permanent positions in both day and evening shifts. The work includes working every other weekend. Day shifts are typically 07:00 to 15:00, and evening shifts are 14:45 to 22:45. We are looking for you We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant with previous experience in health and care work. You have a strong command of Swedish, both spoken and written, and good digital skills, for example to be able to document. Since home care work involves traveling between different clients' homes by bicycle, you need to be comfortable cycling. A driver's license is an advantage. You are responsible, engaged, flexible, and attentive to clients, relatives, and colleagues. You understand how important it is that each person is involved and has influence over their daily life. As an evening shift employee, you will join a cohesive team; right now we are seven who work each shift. Lunds Municipality's home care is divided into several geographic areas. In each area, nursing assistants and care workers work in teams with health and nursing staff under the direction of a unit manager. Each area has a unit administrator and coordinator/planner.
