The Operation
We are looking for two nursing assistants for Home Care. We are looking for someone with previous experience in healthcare and care. It is important that you are comfortable taking responsibility and that you can work independently as we often work alone. Work hours are scheduled during day, evening, and weekends.
Job Duties
Work as a nursing assistant with us involves providing support and service based on the user's individual needs and being responsible for the user receiving good care. The work involves services in the user's home. Main duties include helping with personal care such as showering, toilet visits, meals, etc. based on individual needs, performing health and medical care services, performing service tasks such as cleaning, laundry, shopping, etc., and working and documenting in various systems.
Qualifications
As a nursing assistant applicant with us, you must be a trained nursing assistant with a certificate of protected professional title, have experience working in healthcare and care, and hold a category B driver's license. You must have good command of the Swedish language both spoken and written in order to communicate with users and other staff and to be able to document in writing what the operation and work require. We conduct language assessment before employment. It is meritorious if you have knowledge of the Finnish language as Skinnskattebergs Municipality is part of the Finnish administrative area.
Personal Qualities
We are looking for someone who takes pride in the profession and wants to deliver good care and service. Much of the work is done alone, so it is important that you are responsible, attentive to the individual's needs, and can quickly adapt your work and prioritize according to current circumstances. You should also have good interpersonal skills and good empathetic ability. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
Work Time/Duration
The positions are two temporary contracts, one running until 2026-12-31 and the other until 2027-01-31. Start date by agreement. Interviews may commence before the application deadline has passed.
