Here's what we offer you! We are seeking two home care assistants for Väster 2 at 75% and 100% positions, daytime hours from 261101 to 271101. Working as a home care assistant in home services means you meet our care recipients in their own homes. The work is practical, varied and sometimes physically demanding. You move between care recipients, often by bicycle or car, and help with both care and services in the home. The work requires that you can climb stairs, bend down, lift and sometimes work in tight spaces. There may also be heavier tasks, such as cleaning, carrying groceries from shopping, or helping care recipients with transfers between bed and wheelchair. You follow basic hygiene routines, wear work clothes and demonstrate a respectful and professional approach toward care recipients, colleagues, relatives and other people we meet in our work. Here's what you will work with: Assist with personal care, such as showering, hygiene, dressing and toilet visits Prepare or reheat simple meals and serve food In this role you will administer medications, which means you need to receive delegation from licensed personnel Assist with cleaning, laundry, bed-making and waste sorting Do shopping and accompany on errands Provide social support, conversation and walks Document in digital systems and report according to SBAR to ensure good quality and safe care Collaborate with colleagues, unit managers, nurses, occupational therapists and physiotherapists as needed Be a contact person or fixed care contact and together with the individual plan how services should be provided Hässleholm Municipality wants to create the best conditions for a sustainable working life, so that you thrive, feel well and experience job satisfaction. You who are applying are a trained home care assistant. You have good computer skills and good knowledge of Swedish, both in reading, speaking and writing. We would like you to have experience from care work, but it is not a requirement. To be able to get around in the area, you need to be able to cycle and have a category B driving license for a manual transmission car.
