What we offer you! We are seeking two nursing assistants for home care Väster 1 at 80% and 100% positions, starting as soon as possible or by agreement until 270901. Working as a nursing assistant in home care means you meet our care recipients in their own homes. The work is practical, varied, and sometimes physically demanding. You move between care recipients, often by bicycle or car, and help with both care and services in the home. The work requires you to be able to climb stairs, bend, lift, and sometimes work in confined spaces. There may also be heavier tasks, such as cleaning, carrying groceries from shopping, or helping care recipients transfer between bed and wheelchair. You follow basic hygiene routines, wear work clothes, and maintain a respectful and professional demeanor toward care recipients, colleagues, family members, and others we meet in our work. What you will work with: Assist with personal care, such as showering, hygiene, dressing, and toilet visits Prepare or reheat simple meals and serve food In this role you will administer medication, which means you need to receive delegation from licensed personnel Assist with cleaning, laundry, bed-making, and waste sorting Make purchases and accompany care recipients on errands Provide social support, conversation, and walks Document in digital systems and report according to SBAR to ensure quality and safe care Collaborate with colleagues, unit managers, nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists as needed Be a contact person or fixed care contact and together with the individual plan how services will be provided Hässleholm Municipality wants to create the best conditions for sustainable working life so that you thrive, feel good, and experience joy at work. You are a trained nursing assistant. You have good computer skills and good knowledge of Swedish, in reading, speaking, and writing. We would appreciate if you have experience from care work, but it is not required. To be able to get around the area, you need to be able to cycle and have a B driver's license for a manual transmission car.
