Description We are now seeking two engaged and flexible nursing assistants who want to help create security, independence, and quality of life for our service users at Home Care Rörestorp in Värnamo. Duties The responsibilities also include IT-based documentation and administration as well as delegated health and medical care tasks. As a nursing assistant in home care, you work based on the service user's individual needs, assistance decisions, and implementation plan. Your mission is to provide safe and professional care with respect for the service user's integrity, participation, and self-determination. The work includes, for example: - Personal care - Activation and social interaction - Exercise and outdoor activities - Service tasks - Documentation in activity systems - Delegated health and medical care tasks You will also serve as a permanent care contact for individual service users, which means a special responsibility for planning, follow-up, and coordination of care. The role also includes contact with relatives, healthcare services, authorities, and other professionals regarding the service user. Work hours are scheduled for day, evening, and weekend shifts. Qualifications We are seeking someone who is a trained nursing assistant and who has a genuine interest in working with people. You are confident in your professional role, take responsibility for your work tasks, and have a professional manner. You work independently while also enjoying collaboration with colleagues and other professions. You are flexible, solution-oriented, and have the ability to adapt to the service user's needs and the operation's conditions. Requirements: - Approved education from the Health and Care Program or other education that provides nursing assistant competence. - Certificate from the Swedish Board of Health and Welfare confirming the protected professional title of nursing assistant - Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written - Good computer skills - B driver's license - Ability to cycle Previous experience in health and care is a merit, as is having held special areas of responsibility – for example, a particular interest in delegated tasks within HSL. Great weight will be placed on personal suitability. Interviews will be conducted on a rolling basis. Terms As of July 1, 2023, nursing assistant is a protected professional title and to be eligible as a nursing assistant you must provide a certificate from the Swedish Board of Health and Welfare.
