JOB DUTIES
We are looking for more nursing assistants and home care aides for temporary hourly employment at Gnesta Home Care Night. With us, you have the opportunity to make a difference in our clients' daily lives and contribute to safe, dignified, and meaningful care.
As an employee in home care, you work to provide support and assistance in the care client's own home based on approved services. Job duties may include personal care, meal support, practical tasks, and social documentation.
You may also perform health and medical care tasks after instruction and delegation from a nurse, such as medication management and insulin administration.
The work is varied and responsible, and you have the opportunity to meet people with different needs and circumstances. As a temporary hourly employee, you are an important part of the operation and help us provide our clients with safe and good care even when needs arise with short notice.
Working hours are scheduled for nights and weekends. We often need to cover shifts with short notice, which makes you as a temporary hourly employee a very important and valued resource in our operation.
QUALIFICATIONS
We value appropriate nursing education, preferably as a nursing assistant. You need to have good communication skills, the ability to provide people with support and assistance, and be genuinely considerate, engaged, and responsible in your work.
You must be 18 years old and have good Swedish proficiency in both speech and writing. Since social documentation is done digitally, good computer skills and the ability to use digital tools are also necessary.
Since Gnesta Home Care Countryside serves many clients in rural areas and on the outskirts of Gnesta, a valid driver's license (category B) is required.
