We are seeking two nursing assistants to work days and evenings with us at Brunnslyckan in central Lund.
As a nursing assistant in Lund, you help and support our residents with care work based on their wishes and needs according to approved assistance.
You assist our residents with personal care, service tasks, and perform medical duties on delegation from nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists.
The work includes documenting in Lifecare according to the Social Services Act and Health and Medical Care Act. As a nursing assistant, you will develop care plans, document, evaluate, and contribute to maintaining high quality operations. We monitor quality through national registers such as BPSD, SveDem, and Senior Alert. You are also an active participant in planning, team, and quality work.
We are looking for you
who holds a nursing assistant certification and has experience working in care and health services. We prefer that you have experience with residents with cognitive decline/dementia.
As a person, you are stable, confident in your role as a nursing assistant, and have great patience. You maintain a professional approach, are solution-focused, and flexible. You work from a person-centered care perspective and encourage residents' own abilities.
You must be able and willing to perform medical tasks according to delegation. You can express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish and have good computer skills to document and develop care plans. Knowledge and experience with the quality registers BPSD and Senior Alert are advantageous.
About us
Brunnslyckan's assisted living facility for the elderly is located in Mårtenslundsparken in central Lund with proximity to public transportation. The facility has a beautiful enclosed garden facing west and is close to Lund Botanical Garden.
Our facility employs nursing assistants, coordinators, care attendants, administrators, unit managers, nurses, occupational therapist, and physiotherapist. Brunnslyckan provides person-centered care with our residents' individual needs in focus. Brunnslyckan consists of six units, each with eight apartments. Four of the units serve people with cognitive decline/dementia.
