Work Tasks
As an employee, your main task is to provide support, motivation, and care to our users. We work in a health-promoting manner with the aim of strengthening the individual's own abilities and ensuring that everyone who receives our support feels secure living in their own home.
Participation, development, and community are keywords for us, where continuous improvements provide the conditions for creating good quality. We work with welfare technology with the aim of increasing security, participation, and independence for our users.
Work tasks include, among other things, personal care, assistance with household chores in users' homes, medication management and wound care, documentation, contact person responsibilities, as well as social and physical activities together with our users. We work in teams, which means that many different professional groups have the common goal of creating a good quality of life for our users.
You will currently be placed at Gullänget Home Care. We also collaborate with nearby areas. We offer you meaningful work where you have the opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge in palliative care, dementia, rehabilitation-oriented approaches to daily activities, and transfer techniques.
Qualifications
We are seeking someone who is a nursing assistant or has other education or experience that the employer deems sufficient. We would like to see further training in elderly care and/or dementia, or education focused on psychiatry. Experience working in care and health services is a merit.
It is important that you enjoy and are comfortable working with people, and that you are flexible and receptive to new ideas and ways of working.
For this position, you need sufficient knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing to, among other things, communicate with users, perform care documentation, and receive medication delegation.
A valid driver's license, category B authorization, and access to your own car are requirements.
