The Social Services Administration is responsible for providing support, care and assistance to people in different stages of life. We work based on the individual's needs and offer services that are based on several laws, including the Social Services Act (SoL), the Act on Support and Services for Certain Persons with Disabilities (LSS) and the Health and Medical Services Act.
This can mean providing elderly people with a secure and meaningful daily life, supporting people with functional disabilities or being there for children, young people and adults in difficult life situations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for someone who wants to make a difference in people's everyday lives while being part of a professional and caring operation.
As a nursing assistant, you work with personal care, social support and health and medical care tasks following delegation. You work based on individual implementation plans, document digitally and collaborate with colleagues, relatives and other professionals to create security and continuity for our customers.
The role also includes a coordinating assignment where you are responsible for ensuring that daily planning and staffing works. This includes, among other things:
- sick leave and return-to-work notifications
- reviewing resource needs
- updating schedules and planning
- placing and following up on staffing orders in Time Care Pool.
You have contact with employees, customers, unit manager and other collaboration partners and also handle some personnel administration and booking of Resam/transport services as needed.
Working hours are arranged according to operational needs and may include day, evening and weekend shifts.
The workplace is located in Veddige.
QUALIFICATIONS
As a nursing assistant, you need a combination of professional knowledge, responsibility and respectful conduct. You enjoy collaborating but are also comfortable working independently. Your commitment and attentiveness to other people's needs are crucial to succeed in the role.
We are looking for someone who is organized, flexible and solution-oriented, with good collaboration and communication skills.
Experience with Life Care and Time Care Pool is a merit.
We also see that you have:
- Approved nursing assistant education with proof of protected professional title from the National Board of Health and Welfare
- Good ability to express yourself in Swedish in speech and writing
- B driver's license is required for most of the home care services. Some home care groups use a bicycle instead, therefore you need to be able to cycle.
Experience in elderly care is a merit.
