Nursing Assistant – Welcome to Operating Room 2, Ophthalmology in Mölndal!

At Operating Room 2, we work with all types of eye surgery and are a specialized unit with a strong patient focus. Our most common surgical procedure is cataract surgery, and we conduct both day surgery and inpatient care. We have seven operating rooms, three of which are equipped for anesthesia, and a working approach where all employees participate in surgical processes to strengthen our quality and development. In-house training is a natural part of our daily work, and we are now facing a generational transition — that's why we're looking for two new colleagues who want to grow with us.
Your assignment
As a nursing assistant with us, you'll become an important part of the pre- and intraoperative team. You work closely with our patients and contribute to their sense of security and good care before, during, and after surgery.
The role includes, among other things:
Preparing the operating room and equipment
Working in a team with nurses and physicians during eye surgeries
Work tasks commonly found in operating room activities
On-call availability according to schedule: evenings, nights, and weekends – primarily we work daytime hours
You will become part of a competent and well-coordinated group where collaboration and patient safety are central.

Is a trained nursing assistant
Has supplementary education or experience in operating room care (merits but not required)
Has an interest in working within acute healthcare with technical specialization
Works well in a team, is responsible, and has the patient's best interests in focus
Great weight is placed on personal suitability.
