Work Responsibilities
As a nursing assistant in the ICU, you play a central role in patient-centered care. You meet patients and their loved ones in some of life's most challenging situations and provide reassurance, compassion, and professional care every day. We work as a team. Teamwork, camaraderie, and high competence permeate our department. Here you will collaborate with nursing assistants, registered nurses, and physicians in a stimulating environment where all professional roles are valued.
Qualifications
You are a trained nursing assistant
You have an interest in acute and intensive care
You are responsible, thorough, and organized
You enjoy working in a team
You want to develop and learn new skills
You have good interpersonal skills with patients, relatives, and colleagues
Experience in acute care, preoperative, postoperative, or intensive care is advantageous.
Application
Start date: 2027-02-15, or by agreement. Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis.
Individual schedule planning. The position includes day, evening, and night shifts.
Your application should include a CV, cover letter, and grades from completed nursing courses, as well as any documentation from Socialstyrelsen regarding protected professional title. Other certificates, grades, diplomas, and so forth should be provided at a potential interview.

The Intensive Care Unit at USÖ has eight care beds and cares for critically ill patients from various specialties, including surgery, orthopedics, internal medicine, neurology, neurosurgery, and pediatrics.
