Home Care Area 2 in Mariestad is part of elderly care and encompasses the groups Bråten, Lockerud, and Gärdet. Here, 20 staff members work to provide the best possible support to our residents! We are a team with high expertise and enjoy working together, which is evident through low sick leave.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
In your work, you perform personal care such as dressing and undressing, and assist with toilet and shower situations. You perform delegated nursing tasks including medication distribution, blood draws, and wound dressing changes. Other tasks include service provisions, daily chores, and social activities. The work also involves close collaboration with planners, nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and the unit manager. The work is largely independent, though paired staffing also occurs.
We work with fixed care contacts and ombudsman assignments where you as an employee have the opportunity to grow with responsibility while also being part of the organization's development.
The positions we are now seeking include two permanent positions where you work day shifts, evenings, and weekends. The schedule also includes resource shifts to cover absences at other workplaces. We are also seeking a nursing assistant for a longer temporary assignment through the summer where you work weekend shifts.

QUALIFICATIONS
For this position, we seek someone who is a trained nursing assistant and preferably has work experience from home care.
We seek someone who is attentive, positive, and confident in individual meetings with users and has strong ability to work independently with care tasks. Your inspiring and positive approach contributes to good community spirit and joy among both residents and colleagues.
Since the service area primarily involves apartment visits, you should be in good physical health. You should also be flexible as the work is based on close collaboration with your colleagues where you are expected to step in and support as needed across both groups, and also in other areas through resource shifts.
We welcome experience in meeting people with mental health challenges. You are expected to have good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written. This is because many of your work tasks involve receiving instructions and passing on information in a correct and clear manner. You should also have digital proficiency in computer and mobile use as we use these as work tools.
A driver's license is desirable.
