The Role

In your role you will:
Support and assist clients with personal care, household tasks, and medication management on delegated assignment from a nurse
Work from a health-promoting perspective to strengthen individuals' abilities and create security

About Us
Our home care service south consists of two units. One unit works in outer Heby, Morgongåva, Runhällen/Huddunge and nearby areas, and one unit works in central Heby. Our base is Lövsta elderly care facility in Heby.

This is a permanent position with 75% distribution within our home care south unit and 25% within other operations in the Health and Care Administration.
Working hours are distributed during day and evening shifts and weekends.
Are You the Right Fit?
We want you to:
Be a trained home care assistant and be able to provide a professional certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare if needed
Have previous work experience as a home care assistant
Have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
Have good IT skills
Have a B driving license
Be flexible, responsive, and have a professional approach when meeting people
Be able to work both independently and in a team and adapt to changes
You need to be able to receive delegation for insulin, Fragmin, stoma, and dialysis in addition to medication delegation. Previous delegation experience in any of these areas is a merit. Previous experience as a home care assistant specifically in home care and/or elderly care is also a merit.
Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

An extract from the criminal record register must be submitted before any employment.
The starting salary for a home care assistant without previous relevant experience is 25,800 kr.
