About Fridhemslund In Ängelholm municipality, beautiful Fridhemslund is located—a new elderly care home in the growing Fridhem district. Fridhem is situated in a completely new central neighborhood in Ängelholm. The area is south of Ängelholm's sports facility, within walking distance to both the sea and the city center, with proximity to the train station and bus lines. The facility has 40 places for people with dementia and 40 for those requiring somatic care. We are a dementia-certified facility, which means that everyone working here is trained in dementia care and patient approach through Vardaga's Dementia Academy. We collaborate with the company Ung Omsorg. This means that a team of young people ages 14–18 visit us on weekends and holidays. Ung Omsorg organizes various activities to enhance the quality of life for our residents. You have a group leader who spends most of their time working close to you in the operation. Becoming a group leader can also be a career opportunity for you as a nursing assistant. We work with animals in our care and regularly have visits from therapy dogs. As a nursing assistant, you are incredibly important! Your task is to provide quality of life. With your help, our residents can maintain their lifestyle and habits. You see each person and interpret what they need. At the same time, you learn a great deal about care, aging, and how to interact with people. You are closest to the resident and thus have a key role in the team with nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists. You also participate in care planning and write social documentation. Your Experience and Knowledge We would like to see that you are a trained nursing assistant with a few years of experience in elderly care. Good computer skills and documentation experience are also merits. Good knowledge of Swedish language both spoken and written is a requirement, but otherwise your CV is not the most important thing.
