At the endoscopy clinic, we perform colonoscopies, gastroscopies, and place PEGs, and we have both outpatient and acute visits.
Responsibilities
The tasks at the clinic include several different activities, such as: assisting with examinations, assisting the endoscopist during the procedure, and monitoring during and after the examination. Appointment scheduling and telephone consultation are also part of our work.
Qualifications
We welcome you if you are a trained nursing assistant, preferably with a focus on acute care according to the previous program structure, or are trained as a nursing assistant within the current program structure. To assess employability, grades from your nursing education and proof from Socialstyrelsen of protected professional title must be included with your application.
We are looking for someone with good collaboration skills, social competence, and great dedication. We see that you are open to change and have the ability to work under varying workloads. We value personal suitability highly. Experience from endoscopy work is a merit.

About the Operations
The Surgery Operations Area is a regional operation, which means close collaboration between the county's three hospitals. The area has a regional mandate for acute and planned surgical procedures and we also conduct certain highly specialized care for patients from outside the county. Here there are 350 employees within various units such as clinic, care ward, operating room, and secretariat. Planned healthcare is increasingly localized to Karlskoga and Lindesberg, and in the same way, tumor and trauma operations are localized to Örebro. Within the operations area, active development work is conducted with the patient's focus throughout the entire care process.
