JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a nursing assistant at Åskarbygården residential care facility, you play a key role in providing care and support to our residents. In this role, you strive to create a meaningful everyday life for each individual, tailored to their unique needs. This may include personal care, assistance with meals, cleaning, and medication administration according to delegation from the responsible nurse.
An important part of the position is also serving as a contact person, and we work with person-centered care in Tierp Municipality, where the resident's influence and participation are central. You are responsible for establishing implementation plans for the residents you are contact person for, and ensuring that care measures are implemented and continuously evaluated. Documentation via digital tools is also part of the daily work.
You will become part of a close-knit team where we collaborate closely, both with colleagues and with nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and the unit manager.
You will work on a schedule covering days, evenings, and weekends.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you with a professional certificate from Socialstyrelsen or a certificate from your current/most recent employer regarding permanent employment as a nursing assistant together with proof that you have applied for your professional certificate. To succeed in this role, you need to have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. You also need to have good computer skills. Previous experience from a healthcare profession is considered meritorious. If you also have experience handling delegated HSL measures, that is also meritorious.
As a person, you find it easy to focus on the customer's needs and achieve good customer satisfaction. You find it easy to adapt your behavior in relation to other people's needs. You also have the ability to work with other people; to listen, show empathy and respect.
To ensure safety for the children, residents, and clients that Tierp Municipality is responsible for, you must provide an extract from the criminal record before employment can be offered.
