What does the nursing assistant role at Norlandia Elderly Care involve?
A nursing assistant at Norlandia is a valued key person, and we're looking for someone who is skilled in your professional role and enjoys meeting people in different situations. Together as a team with nurses, rehabilitation staff, and management, we work together for each resident to provide a good life every day.
We're looking for you with a genuine interest in elderly people, where your main responsibilities are to provide safe and secure personal care and support. You support residents in their everyday lives and create conditions for a safe and meaningful daily routine. As a nursing assistant, you are responsible for providing residents with good quality care in accordance with what has been agreed with each resident in their care plan.
This includes, among other things:
Work as a contact person based on Norlandia's "Your Day" concept.
Personal care and support, and utilizing residents' own resources.
Work based on Norlandia's "Delicious Meal" concept so our residents enjoy their food and meals add a special touch to their everyday life.
Documenting according to Social Services legislation; maintaining social records and creating and following up care plans.
Planning, offering, and implementing daily activities, outdoor time, entertainment, crafts, cultural activities, etc., both individual and group activities.
Performing service tasks such as apartment cleaning, laundry, assistance with errands and shopping, etc.
Receiving and performing delegated tasks such as medication administration.
Taking responsibility in ombudsman roles.
Actively participating in quality improvement and development work.

You must have proof of the right to use the professional title nursing assistant from the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare.
It is advantageous if you have previous experience in healthcare and elderly care.
You need good knowledge of documentation.
You must have good command of Swedish, both spoken and written.
We prefer that you have good computer skills and experience.
We want you to have good knowledge of the national quality registers relevant to our operations.

Scope: 75%–80%
Start date: By agreement
Probationary period: 6 months
We apply individual salary setting and have collective agreements. Interviews are conducted on a rolling basis and the position may be filled before the final application deadline. Personal suitability will be heavily weighted.
Before a potential employment, you will need to provide a certificate from the criminal records register. You also need to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden by providing proof of EU/EES citizenship or a valid work permit.
