Fridhem has 30 residences distributed across three units. One unit specializes in somatic care and two units focus on dementia care. As an employee at Fridhem, you work across all units but have a "home unit." We're looking for someone who wants to develop elderly care and enjoys challenges. With us, you and your colleagues work to support older adults so they can live as independently as possible. Job Duties As a nursing assistant in Ale Municipality, you work with care and support based on current legislation, guidelines, and frameworks. We meet people with different needs and varying circumstances, which places high demands on you as a nursing assistant. Your approach should be based on a salutogenic and person-centered work method. This means you work with a focus on the person you meet. You need to be attentive and show respect for self-determination and personal integrity. You support care recipients based on their individual needs and wishes. You need the willingness and commitment to work with older adults and collaborate with colleagues to create a safe and fulfilling daily life for those living at Fridhem. We work with fixed care contacts. This means you're responsible for coordinating support to provide individually tailored care. Qualifications We're looking for someone with nursing assistant training. You need good nursing care knowledge. Your work includes performing delegated tasks from home care services and documenting these according to the Health and Medical Services Act (HSL) and documentation according to the Social Services Act. Experience working in residential care is a merit. You need good Swedish language skills, both written and spoken. Other language skills are a plus, as we have care recipients with other native languages. You'll be part of a team where your ability to collaborate is as important as working independently. We're looking for someone with good interpersonal skills and approach. You have the ability to create security and calm even in stressful situations. You have a holistic perspective and understand how your approach creates security and is important for those needing your support. Personal suitability is heavily weighted. Other Information Working hours according to schedule: day, evening, and alternating weekends. As an employee in Ale, you're employed full-time but have the right to work part-time. A valid extract from the criminal record (Belastningsregistret) must be presented via digital mailbox, email, or to the responsible recruiter in the final stage (the extract must be valid within 1 year).
