Work Tasks
Your main responsibilities are to meet the residents' individual care and support needs. We work together as a team with residents at the center. The work includes documentation according to legislation.
We use an individualized approach based on a user perspective and work to increase resident influence by placing the individual at the center. We use Time Care planning as a scheduling tool.
As a nursing assistant, you collaborate with nurses, paramedics, and the group manager in daily work.
About the Workplace
The Social Services Department's main mission is to offer individualized support and services within elderly care, disability services, child and family services, adult services, and financial assistance. We are there for municipal residents through all stages of life.
Within Elder Care, there are four special housing facilities, Home Care including Safety Patrols, Day Activities, Short-term and Respite Housing, an Elderly Center, and a Municipal Primary Care clinic. Tallåsen is a special housing facility with 32 spaces divided between dementia units and somatic care units.
What We're Looking For
To succeed in this role, you have:
- nursing assistant certification with protected professional title
- good documentation skills
- basic computer skills
- Swedish language skills equivalent to B2 level in speaking and writing
It is an advantage if you have:
- experience working within elderly care
- experience with digital work methods and welfare technology
- interest in digitalization and development within healthcare and support services

As a person, you are genuinely service-oriented with good interpersonal skills. You are curious and attentive, and committed to creating a sense of security for residents. You are particularly passionate about creating adapted activities for older adults. You can understand others' perspectives without absorbing their emotions.
In your role as a nursing assistant with us, it's important that you act thoughtfully with good judgment in interactions with residents, family members, and others. You are accustomed to taking initiative, can quickly adapt to different situations and people in both communication and behavior. You can work independently but are also a team player who collaborates easily with others and ensures high quality in your work.
