As a nursing assistant, you are the one closest to the patient, providing basic care, monitoring vital parameters (blood pressure, pulse, saturation) and clearing airways. The work also involves supporting families and assisting with procedures such as intubation and central venous catheter (CVK) placement. The department has seven intensive care beds and approximately 90 employees.

The department uses a working hours model that provides higher compensation for shifts considered less attractive. The model and individual scheduling give you the opportunity to influence both your work schedule and your compensation. About You
We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant with a focus on health and medical care and preferably has experience in acute and/or intensive care. Attach proof of your right to use the professional title nursing assistant from Socialstyrelsen to your application.
As a person, you have a positive attitude and are flexible in both thought and action. We value that you can work independently and have good collaboration skills. It is important that you are interested in technology as we use advanced technical equipment. We place great importance on personal suitability.

Your Future Workplace
The Intensive Care Unit is the department at the hospital that cares for the sickest patients. This ranges from small children to elderly people. It is high-tech, meaning patients receive life-sustaining assistance from medical-technical equipment such as ventilators and continuous dialysis. Most patients are sedated while in our care, which means someone must always be present with the patient. We work in teams (doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists) around the patient.
