Annagården
Annagården has 30 rooms for short-term care, respite care, and temporary relief services. We are centrally located with close proximity to public transportation, the harbor, downtown, library, church, and Stadsparken. With us, you will meet people in different stages of life who need temporary support and care. This may include people with temporarily impaired health who need rehabilitation after a hospital stay, are awaiting assessment regarding future needs and support services, or need end-of-life care. Our goal is to provide professional and secure care where each individual is at the center.

Since our users stay with us for limited periods, you need to be flexible, attentive, and able to quickly build trust and security.

Your responsibilities
As a nursing assistant at Annagården, you work closely with our users and colleagues. Your responsibilities may include:
• Standard nursing care interventions
• Rehabilitation and activating interventions
• Health and medical care tasks by delegation, for example medication administration and wound care
• Various types of assessments and evaluations
• Documentation in digital systems
• Planning and adapting interventions with the team based on individual needs.
We work in an interdisciplinary manner and collaborate closely with nurses, rehabilitation teams, and social welfare administrators. Together, we work to ensure each person receives the right support and a secure stay with us. The position involves day, evening, and weekend shifts and is a permanent full-time position.
Your qualifications
We are looking for someone who is trained as a nursing assistant and enjoys work where no two days are the same. It is an advantage if you have experience from short-term housing, elderly care, hospitals, or similar activities.

You need to be able to speak and write Swedish fluently, as communication with users, family members, and colleagues is an important part of the work.
Within the Social Administration in Västervik Municipality, we use language tests as part of the recruitment process.
We also work with digital documentation, which means you need to be comfortable working in digital systems. We place great importance on your personal qualities.
Other information
To be eligible for employment in Västervik Municipality, you must provide a certificate from the Police's criminal record register. Work in homes with elderly and people with disabilities | Swedish Police Authority. Please note that processing time can be up to 2 weeks. You will need to present your certificate if you are offered the position.
