Centralsjukhuset in Kristianstad (CSK) is the acute care hospital serving northeastern Skåne. Here, acute care services are provided 24/7 by competent and dedicated staff. CSK combines the resources of a large hospital with the personal touch and cohesion of a smaller facility. We have approximately 2,600 employees.
The Urology Department (VO) has been an independent operational unit at CSK since September 1, 2022, and is responsible for both planned and emergency urology care. We offer a broad range of services for both benign and malignant urological conditions, and since 2022 we also perform robot-assisted cancer surgery. Our fully modern-equipped clinic handles nearly 11,000 visits per year, with projections showing continued growth. Our department has 16–24 beds tailored for patients undergoing treatment for urological diseases.

DUTIES
We are now recruiting an associate physician for a temporary position with primary responsibility in the Urology and Vascular Surgery Department.
On a typical workday with us, your responsibilities will include ward rounds with the department head physician. As an associate physician, you will also work with patient intake, medical documentation, consultations with other specialists, and other standard duties. Some weekend shifts are required.
There is also the opportunity, based on interest and experience, to work with outpatient services and participate in surgical procedures.
We offer some flexibility regarding the start and end dates of the temporary position. This may be relevant, for example, if you are accepted for an AT position or if you wish to extend the temporary contract.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are seeking candidates who hold a medical degree or have completed through semester 10 of medical school and are therefore eligible to work as a temporary unlicensed associate physician under general dispensation. Documented Swedish language skills at least at level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale are required. For those with a foreign medical degree, documentation from the Swedish Medical and Social Board (Socialstyrelsen) must be provided confirming that you are eligible to work as a physician in Sweden.
As a person, you are curious and take initiative independently. You have strong social competence and treat your patients with excellence as a matter of course. You are a natural collaborator, flexible, and possess strong communication skills. Since we are committed to finding the right people for our positions, considerable weight will be given to personal suitability.
