We are now seeking a junior doctor who wants to work at BUP Regional Investigation Clinic (RU) and the ADHD Clinic for Children within Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Sahlgrenska University Hospital. This position offers a unique opportunity to combine neuropsychiatric assessment work with follow-up and treatment of children and adolescents with ADHD. You will work closely with experienced specialist doctors and other professionals in an operation characterized by collaboration, development, and patient focus. About the operation Regional Investigation Clinic (RU) is a joint regional operation within Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in the Västra Götaland Region. The clinic conducts neuropsychiatric assessments of children and adolescents from across the region. ADHD Clinic for Children is responsible for assessment, treatment, and follow-up of children and adolescents with ADHD. The operation works on a team basis and has close collaboration between doctors, psychologists, nurses, and medical secretaries. Both operations are centrally located in Göteborg and conduct ongoing development and improvement work. Within the operations, there is also an opportunity to participate in research and quality development. Work tasks As a junior doctor, you will work within both RU and the ADHD Clinic for Children. At RU you will: Participate in neuropsychiatric assessments of children and adolescents. Conduct clinical assessments and medical visits. Gather and compile case history information. Contribute to diagnostic considerations together with specialist doctors and psychologists. Participate in feedback to patients, guardians, and collaboration partners. At the ADHD Clinic for Children you will: Participate in medical assessments and follow-ups. Assist in initiating and monitoring medication treatment under supervision. Follow patients over time and contribute to good and safe care. Collaborate with families and other healthcare providers. Work is conducted in multiprofessional teams with good opportunities for learning and development. The position also includes work at the BUP emergency clinic during evenings/nights and weekends. Qualifications Licensed doctor or holds a medical degree with authorization to work as a non-licensed junior doctor. Has an interest in child and adolescent psychiatry. Has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. Has good collaboration skills and enjoys teamwork. It is meritorious if you have experience from work within psychiatry, pediatric care, primary care, or other operations that work with children, adolescents, and families. Personal characteristics We are looking for someone who is engaged, responsible, and curious. You have good interpersonal skills, enjoy working collaboratively, and want to contribute to the continued development of the operation. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
