About the Role
As a Maintenance Technician for Plumbing & Mechanical Systems, you will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and development of plumbing and mechanical systems within Scania's facilities as well as media supply systems.
The role involves independent work where you troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance to ensure stable and safe operations. You will also participate in technical investigations, improvement projects, and planning of long-term maintenance.
The work is carried out in close collaboration with both internal customers and external suppliers.
Your Main Responsibilities
Update technical documentation and collaborate with customers, contractors, and suppliers in daily operations.
Perform preventive maintenance to ensure high operational reliability and availability.
Independently troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plumbing and mechanical systems and media systems.
Participate in technical investigations and identify and implement improvement measures.
Plan and contribute to long-term maintenance and investment work.
Who Are You?
You are service-oriented, responsible, and enjoy collaborating with colleagues, customers, and suppliers.
You have several years of experience in the operation, care, and maintenance of plumbing and mechanical systems in industrial facilities or larger properties.
You have a three-year upper secondary education in plumbing, building technology, energy, or another relevant technical field.
You are accustomed to working independently with troubleshooting and problem-solving and have a structured work approach.
You communicate fluently in Swedish and have good knowledge of English.
Who Are We?
We are a maintenance department consisting of plumbing technicians, electricians, and building technicians who work daytime hours and operate from our workshop. The work is conducted independently with daily planning of tasks to be performed, but emergency call-outs also occur. We have close collaboration within the team, where we support and help each other to ensure efficient and safe operations.
