About the Position
Do you want a broad technical role where you work closely with production and help ensure that machinery and equipment function as intended?
We are now seeking a maintenance technician for Hammar Maskin AB in Olsfors. Here you will have a varied day-to-day experience where preventive maintenance is mixed with troubleshooting, repairs, and improvement work.
As a maintenance technician, you will have a broad role working with both production equipment and facilities. You will contribute to ensuring high operational reliability in production while managing ongoing maintenance and technical matters related to Hammar's premises and facilities. One day you work on planned maintenance of a production machine, the next day you may need to resolve a technical problem in the facilities or production.
This role suits you if you enjoy practical problem-solving, want to understand how things work, and thrive with the variety between planned tasks and things that need to be solved on the spot.
Job Responsibilities
Examples of job responsibilities
• Preventive and corrective maintenance of machinery and production equipment.
• Troubleshooting and repairs, particularly in mechanics and automation equipment.
• Installation, assembly, and maintenance of machinery, accessories, and related equipment.
• Ongoing maintenance of facilities, premises, and technical equipment.
• Troubleshooting and simple repairs related to facilities and premises.
• Contact and coordination with external service partners and suppliers.
• Contribute to improvement work and development of preventive maintenance.
Qualifications and Personal Qualities
• Experience in industrial maintenance, technical service, facilities maintenance, troubleshooting, or similar technical work.
• Good mechanical understanding.
• Experience with troubleshooting, repair, and practical maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of automation and interest in developing further in this area.
• Driver's license (category B).
• Strong proficiency in Swedish and English.
What We Offer
• Permanent employment directly with Hammar Maskin AB, with a six-month initial probationary period.
• Full-time (100%). Work location is Olsfors.
• Daytime working hours.
• Start date by mutual agreement.
