The Instrumentation Maintenance unit is now seeking Maintenance Engineers. About Us The Instrumentation Maintenance unit conducts preventive and corrective maintenance and component replacements. Operations primarily consist of maintenance on component and system functions in the plants' protection, process and service systems. We are also an important part of projects and change activities at the facilities. About the Job The role has a clear strategic focus with emphasis on tasks such as planning, analysis, follow-up and coordination. At the same time, you need to have good plant knowledge and be on-site when necessary to create the right basis, follow up on measures and support the organization. Your main responsibilities: As a maintenance engineer, you are responsible for developing and further developing maintenance plans and maintenance strategies for the plant. You participate in projects and process investigations, and produce maintenance reports and analyses. The role also includes identifying and monitoring spare parts needs within your area of responsibility. Practical elements may occur as needed, for example to verify status in the plant, support troubleshooting or quality assure completed measures. This may involve preventive and corrective maintenance on instrumentation, control, regulation and automation equipment, in close cooperation with operations, technical functions and other maintenance disciplines. You will primarily work on reactor-proximity I&C systems, both digital and analog. These are highly demanding, proven and specific to nuclear power. Requirements Specification About You To be successful in this role, you have: Technical educational background, for example in electronics or automation, or equivalent work experience that the employer deems equivalent Experience in instrumentation maintenance and practical maintenance work in process/industrial environments (e.g., control and regulation systems, field instrumentation, troubleshooting) Very good knowledge of Swedish and good knowledge of English Good administrative skills Meriting Factors Experience working with maintenance optimization, condition-based/preventive maintenance and developing maintenance strategies A genuine technical interest in digital and analog instrumentation You thrive in a varied and broad role where you take full responsibility for your tasks and drive work forward. You are collaborative and enjoy working with different functions to achieve common goals. Furthermore, you have good ability to plan, structure and coordinate your work and ensure that activities are followed up and completed.
