As a Signal Maintenance Engineer for Mälarbanan at Trafikverket, you will be part of facilitating everyday life for residents and businesses throughout Sweden. You do this by contributing to Sweden's future infrastructure. Job Responsibilities As a Signal Maintenance Engineer on Mälarbanan, you will work together with your colleagues in the project team to ensure the maintenance of the railway facility and follow up on ordered maintenance measures. You will contribute your technical expertise in the signal field and be a crucial resource by being on-site monitoring the facility's condition. You will be a central part of the team's collection of information for improvement proposals, and you will help lead development activities within your area. Qualifications You are a committed team player who builds trust. You are self-driven, proactive, well-organized, and quality-conscious in your commitments and have good analytical abilities. We are looking for someone who has: signal technical training in railways at least a couple of years of current and relevant experience working with railway signal systems experience with administrative aspects of your work good ability to grasp computer systems and are a proficient user of the Office package good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing driver's license for a car. It is also desirable if you have: experience with safety and maintenance inspections of railway facilities experience with project management and systematic follow-up work against contract requirements knowledge of contract law BAS-P/BAS-U experience.
