About the job
You are responsible for building and developing a maintenance organization that meets and exceeds production needs within preventive, planned, and emergency maintenance. You work both strategically and operatively to ensure safe, efficient, and sustainable processes while driving the development of condition-based maintenance and exploring how digital solutions can contribute to the operation's goals. You are part of the management group for the production unit and have a central role in the operation's continued development.
Responsibilities
Ensure safe, efficient, and proactive maintenance of production equipment.
Drive improvement initiatives that reduce unplanned downtime and strengthen operational reliability.
Develop approaches within condition-based maintenance and digitalization.
Collaborate closely with production and other functions to optimize availability, workflows, and cost efficiency.
Actively contribute to the management group and help shape the operation's long-term strategy.
Placement
The position is based in Fagersta and work is conducted primarily on-site.
Your profile
You have experience from production and maintenance within manufacturing industry and have developed a strong understanding of maintenance work, availability, and production flows. Through previous leadership roles, you have developed the ability to achieve results through both people and structures.
Your background includes:
Experience developing individuals, teams, or work methods.
Strong understanding of maintenance processes within manufacturing industry.
Experience with improvement initiatives and operational development.
Technical education or equivalent knowledge in areas such as mechanical, maintenance, or production engineering.
Good proficiency in Swedish and English.
You are a change-oriented leader who dares to challenge established work methods and sees opportunities where others see obstacles.
