Employment start date: 1/7/2026 The Secondary Industrial School of Třinec Iron Works is a prestigious technical school with a long-standing tradition. We offer a wide range of secondary school and vocational programs. We focus on practical education, innovation, and preparing students for the modern industry. We are currently looking to expand our team and hire an English language teacher. Job Description: - The teacher will instruct English language in both secondary and vocational programs, prepare students for final exams, and develop their language competencies with an emphasis on communication (optionally with a focus on basics of technical English for specialized fields). Qualification and Skills Requirements: - Higher education degree in English language (teaching or philological focus), - Meeting the qualification requirements for teaching at secondary schools under the law on pedagogical staff (pedagogical education is an advantage; opportunity to complete it if needed), - Excellent command of English language (C1 level), - Experience with teaching technical or specialized English is an advantage, not a requirement, - Experience in pedagogy and ability to use modern technologies in teaching. Personality Requirements: - We are looking for a communicative, creative, and organized educator who can motivate students to study foreign languages and is eager to collaborate with the team.
