We are looking for a careful and responsible accountant to join our team, someone who has some initial experience with accounting and wants to develop further in this field.
This position is also suitable for a candidate who is at the beginning of their accounting career. We don't expect you to know everything - what's important to us is that you have a basic understanding of accounting, know how individual accounting operations work, and have the motivation to learn more. We will train you on some things and you will have the support of more experienced colleagues on the team.
Fixed-term employment (1 year) with the possibility of extension, single-shift operation - flexible working hours.
What awaits you with us: recording received and issued invoices, processing bank statements and cash documents, tracking and controlling receivables and payables, matching payments and checking accounting transactions, verifying the accuracy and completeness of accounting documents, recording internal documents, asset tracking and accounting, preparing documentation for VAT and other tax returns, checking account balances and account reconciliations, collaborating on monthly and annual financial closings, preparing documentation and reports for company management, administration and archiving of accounting documents.
Who we're looking for: you have accounting experience, even if brief; you know the basic principles of double-entry bookkeeping and understand common accounting transactions; you know how to handle basic accounting tasks and can independently solve routine situations; you have a basic understanding of VAT and accounting documents; you are careful, reliable, and have an eye for detail; you can work with a computer, especially MS Excel; if there's something you don't know, that's fine - we're happy to train you and the team will be available to help; you have the motivation to further develop your accounting skills.
